This one is from: https://abeautifulblog.tumblr.com/post/668963484451717120/fun-meta-asks-for-writers

As usual, I did a first pass at it in answering the ones that are easy to answer. Feel free to comment if you want more about something, for some reason.

1. Tell us about your current project(s) – what’s it about, how’s progress, what do you love most about it?

I feel like my problem is that I have too many things that I want to work on. I have, like 10 fanfic wips, a couple of fan comics that I have drafted in my head, but also I want to do the Tape v. Hurley comic? But also, work, other work, etc etc.

2. Tell us about what you’re most looking forward to writing – in your current project, or a future project

3. What is that one scene that you’ve always wanted to write but can’t be arsed to write all of the set-up and context it would need? (consider this permission to write it and/or share it anyway)

Lol I've definitely ended fics with "and now picture the movie, except with this one difference that doesn't affect anything" or "if you want more fluffy recovery, please read one of the other bajillion excellent recovery fics out there."

4. Share a sentence or paragraph from your writing that you’re really proud of (explain why, if you like)

5. What character that you’re writing do you most identify with?

I think personality-wise, I'm closest to Sam, but Bucky is easiest to write.

6. What character do you have the most fun writing?

Tony Stark.

7. What do you think are the characteristics of your personal writing style? Would others agree?

8. Is what you like to write the same as what you like to read?

Sort of. I write when there's something that I want to read but which I haven't been able to find. But there's also stuff that I greatly enjoy reading but can't write. Things that have a strong historical sense of place, for instance.

9. Are you more of a drabble or a longfic kind of writer? Pantser or plotter? Do you wish you were the other?

I write things <10k and am happy to be that.

10. How would you describe your writing process?

I open a sticky note on my desktop, I write the bits with lots of [stuff goes here], and then I go back through and fill those in. Eventually it gets to a point where I'm like "aw, fuckit" and then I post it. Then, when I go back to reread it 3 months or 2 years later, I do a fair bit of tweaking directly on AO3. If I don't post it, then it languishes on my cluttered desktop in Sticky Note form for years.

11. What do you envy in other writers?

12. Do you want your writing to be famous?

Hell no.

I do want people to read my comics tho. XD;;;

13. Do you share your writing online? (Drop a link!) Do you have projects you’ve kept just for yourself?

I have both fannish and original work AO3 accounts. My comics are also at http://soupycomics.com

14. At what point in writing do you come up with a title?

I suck at titles, so usually halfway through. My policy for titles is that I'll be able to remember what the fic was called when I get AO3 comment notifs for it, so it's usually 1-2 words, and no poetry, no song lyrics. The one about dogs will have a dog-related title.

15. Which is harder: titles or summaries (or tags)?

tags because I always forget what to tag for.

16. Tried anything new with your writing lately? (style, POV, genre, fandom?)

Hmm.... nothing particularly new. I've written a few small Witcher things, but mostly by accident. I've gotten better at diagnosing story problems in my writing, which is exciting. Line-level shit is still tedious as fuck.

17. Do you think readers perceive your work - or you - differently to you? What do you think would surprise your readers about your writing or your motivations?

18. Do any of your stories have alternative versions? (plotlines that you abandoned, AUs of your own work, different characterisations?) Tell us about them.

19. Is there something you always find yourself repeating in your writing? (favourite verb, something you describe ‘too often’, trope you can’t get enough of?)

People are shrugging all the damn time. And looking down or away. What it mostly is, is that I mostly write by just describing the comic panel in my head, and in comics, those are quick shorthands for emotion.

20. Tell us the meta about your writing that you really want to ramble to people about (symbolism you’ve included, character or relationship development that you love, hidden references, callbacks or clues for future scenes?)

21. What other medium do you think your story would work well as? (film, webcomic, animated series?)

22. Do you reread your old works? How do you feel about them?

Yes, it's comfort reading, because I know exactly what to expect. Sometimes I'm like "dang, I sure did a Write here, good job, past self!" and other times I'm like "whoa, this scene needs another hundred words, lemme just go slip that in...."

23. What’s the story idea you’ve had in your head for the longest?

That's not yet written? Either a Peggy POV piece or a shapeshifter!Bucky piece.

24. Would you say your writing has changed over time?

Thankfully it's gotten a bit better, I think. Sometimes I remember that adjectives and adverbs are things I can use! And sometimes people blink instead of shrug! When I write fanfics it no longer feels like I'm constantly beating my head against a wall and every word is an uphill battle. It's more like ... okay, lemme lay this out and then put in the hours of filling it in.

25. What part of writing is the most fun?

The part where I'm done and can post it and close my Sticky Note.
