Should I create an LJ crosspost account?

Pros: LJ-only folks can follow me there

Cons: I'd be falling into the Same Old Trap of being divided between DW and LJ -- I hate that conversations are divided, that communities are divided. Maybe it's time to take a stand and stick to DW.

I'm of the opinion that we (individually speaking) choose one platform to be our primary and stick with it. I have an LJ account, but I don't plan to use it for anything but commenting on posts of people who are LJ-primary users. I figure the poster picks their platform, and the commenter either stays anonymous or creates an account. It's easier that way, I think. (Also, LJ folks will be able to follow you on tumblr, should they wish to keep track of you.)

Yah, that makes sense. I guess the whole thing about DW/LJ being supplemental is that tumblr is the main feed/notification system, and the other place is more of a repository for longer comments.
