I have 57 public works on my AO3 account (discounting RBBs where I drew the art but someone else wrote the fic.) Give me a number between 1 and 57 and I'll tell you something about that numbered piece (favorite line/panel, creative process, aspect I wish I'd done differently, etc).
1 = most recently posted work, 57 = earliest posted work.
(Note: I recently posted a bunch of my old stuff in the Great Tumblr Fuckup, so some of the more recent numbers might actually be earlier works.)

I'm pretty proud of the first panels with the transition from seeing the Howlies drinking with Peggy in the window, to Peggy going into the restaurant.

I think the setting itself was inspired by a post that was going around of Steve saying "let's suit up" followed by a drawing of everyone awkwardly putting on clothes in the parking lot.
At the time, I was proud of drawing Clint mid-putting-on-shirt.

I'm most proud of Shuri making a sonic screwdriver, because she's a nerd and of course she'd want to out-do Doctor Who. And deciding to draw a floaty table instead of a regular table.
My favorite moment in the comic is the panel on page 4 where Shuri decides to be happy.

From what I vaguely recall, it's a bunch of letters where Steve tries to talk about the changes in his life and how much he misses Bucky and how lost he feels, but keeps crossing it out and writing some bland cheer instead. This was back when I was trying to not overtly do Stucky, and instead chose to focus on the depth of their friendship.
Looking back at the pictures, I think these were the topics of each letter:
- Steve being nervous the night before the serum procedure and really wishing Bucky were there. I think there were multiple versions of the letter, ranging from "sorry I lied to you" to "I really wish you were here", and finally settling on "things are going well"
- The "I'm big now but they don't know what to do with me, maybe I'm farther from the front line than I thought" letter, that ended up being "I've got a new job and may be traveling, so your letters may not get to me"
- The "I'm at the front lines but not the way I want to, and I haven't gotten a letter from you in a while, are you okay" letter, which breaks off half-way because Peggy comes to find him.
Looking back at the art, I'm quite surprised at what a good Erskine that is -- I probably actually looked up a reference image or something.

Anyway, that first one is, I think, literally one of the earliest comic I'd ever drawn in this fandom. It features me driving to my old job! I'm now 2 jobs past that job and also Rutabaga exists as a person, so it's pretty wild to see that. I think it was also one of the first things I drew on my new tablet at the time, which was a "welp, I got this tablet, let's see if I can draw some random stuff and throw it on the internet." Before that, I was mostly pencil+pen+laptop coloring. You can tell it's a early one because I haven't figured out my preferred brush type and size yet. So in a way, this is really the beginning of many things. I still think about this comic sometimes because it's been 5 years and I still can't stop thinking about Bucky?!!
After drawing the other comic, I ended up spending a lot of money on a WS hoodie on etsy, and I have ZERO REGRETS. I literally wear it to every convention and many halloweens besides.
Art-wise, I like the tiny!Steve shirt design that I did there, and really not much else.

Also, I like Peggy's dress, and that she wore it for herself.
I know what you mean re: not just the Bechdel test. When I write scenes with women in it, even when it's from a woman's POV/when the woman is the narrator, I ask myself if this is about her or just a way to get information across/move the plot forward (i.e., am I passing the lampshade test?). And in some instances (e.g., when the story is m/m) it's taken me a few tries to get it right.

I have to admit I have somehow acquired rather a lot of Cap shirts in the last year or so, though like you I'm more a fan of Steve Rogers than Cap. I do like the shield purely on the basis of its design, though. And I say that as a Canadian with a very conflicted relationship with the U.S. But I also have a WS hoodie bookmarked on Etsy...
And like you, I also really just want Bucky's WW II jacket. :D
