Hey folks, I'm finally through the tough part of January! (Had narratives to write, class to prep, got sick, went to two weekend activity sessions). But! Now I don't have any major duties until March, there's February break coming up, and this week I have no grading!

#7 Promote/Rec/Sing the Praises* of Yourself!
I'm really happy with how Happy Birthday Steve Rogers came out -- I wrote a lot of text to intro each comic, and it looks pretty sweet with the nicer cover and the square binding. I keep forgetting to tell people that they can get a paper copy tho. ::shrug::

#8 Rec at least three fanworks that you didn’t create.
Hmmmm. Here's 3 fics that I've recently enjoyed reading:

Queer Omens by Lurlur: Queer Eye gets roped into doing an episode for Crowley/Aziraphale. Heartwarming, hilarious, with everyone spot-on, and only 12k words!

Slow and Splendored by eyres: The one where the end of Endgame is fully accepted, where Steve's love for Peggy isn't sidelined in haste to restore Stucky, where the socio-political ramifications of the world population doubling in a snap is explored, and where Steve manages to help fix the world, just slower this time. Stucky endgame in 65k words.

Give Thanks to Broken Bones by thepartyresponsible. Thepartyresponsible is ... well, the party responsible for snookering me into caring about the Batfam?? Or mostly just Jason Todd, I think. Anyways, this one is a wip in which Tony Stark discovers that he's a father to a 6-year-old, and ends up hiring a mysterious guy by the name of Jason Todd to be the babysitter/bodyguard. If you're not into reading 30k of a wip, here's a fast 4k oneshot where the Bucky shows up at Logan's front door and spends some time recovering: Keep the Torch Lit -- mostly I was just laughing at the Logan/Xavier exchanges.

#9 promote at least one canon that you adore
Hmm... I'm not really in the Doctor Who fandom, but I've watched a fair amount of Doctor Who at this point, so let me talk about my love for the Second Doctor, since we were watching the Macra Terror last week. I really like it when the Doctor has this sense of moral indignation, which is also why I like Tenth Doctor so much too. But whereas David Tennant plays up the manic side, Patrick Troughton is my adorable science uncle. I love that he solves problems with math and science! (In the Macra Terror, he reverse-engineers a formula, and then gives himself 10/10.) He's the best with Jamie and Zoe -- their personalities interact so well!
