I love this challenge! Mine was a rather predictable "Snowpiercer" + "Mad Max Fury Road", but would love to see what others come up with.

Woke up still thinking about this -- my first reaction was "Ladyhawke"/"The Princess Bride", but when I went to read the post you referenced, that was the first pairing I saw in the comments. heh.

So how about what we watched in our house a couple of weeks ago?

"His Girl Friday" / "Auntie Mame"

(now I want a flamboyant Mame icon with the words "Live Live Live" on it. heh)

this is putting me in mind of an episode of Cabin Pressure, where they put movie titles together for comic effect, but I'd have to check my notes to remember any. Or wait for the relevant transcript to appear on my reading page, thanks to the lovely arianedevere. OH, I've remembered Martin's, which was "how green is my valley? seven."
