shameless Guardian novel reactions

omfg the first quarter of this arc is legit 赵云澜 being a slob and getting sick and then 沈巍 having to take care of him. Like, Zhao Yulan spends the day lounging around the house, had bread and tea for breakfast, and then when his stomach gurgles around dinner time, he was like "maybe if I drink some hot water I'll be able to get over it". And then when the stomach pains get too much, he's like "I'll just put pants and jacket over my pajamas and run down the block for a quick bite." AND THEN he tries to hit on Shen Wei in that getup. (Shen Wei, attempting to tidy up the piles on Zhao Yunlan's bed: "Where do you put this stuff?" Zhao Yunlan: "On the bed during the day, on the floor during the night." Me: "omg it me")
Like, thus far the this arc is legit "Zhao Yunlan tries so hard to make a booty call that he traps the whole team in a snowed-in cabin" (with a blow-up doll included?!)
Shen Wei's pendant is the cutest thing ever.
I just want Shen Wei to reveal his badassery to Zhao Yunlan soon. (And then kiss). Like, what's with the self repression thing?
Oh, backtracking to the previous arc, I really wonder how the 李茜 back story gets translated, because the whole "left alone in the village being raised by grandma while parents are migrant workers in the city" thing and the whole "being a casualty of the One Child Policy" thing and the "giving up half your remaining life to save someone" thing are all so Chinese???
