oh this!! really helps me articulate why exactly the movie felt so flat to me... I like characters, I want to see characters that are developed, their personalities... With Carol it's just... hard... She's lost, but honestly we don't see a lot of that either, the "who am i" is also not used to the full extent... It's an enjoyable movie, but lacks a spark, sadly
