DW forced image resizing?
So... I used to post art here, but then I noticed that DW seems to forcibly resize all the images I post to be TOO SMALL. So I stopped posting art here.
Skipping back through my archives:
https://potofsoup.dreamwidth.org/50831.html the image widths are actually set to 80%, not that you can tell. Same for https://potofsoup.dreamwidth.org/45656.html , https://potofsoup.dreamwidth.org/43554.html , https://potofsoup.dreamwidth.org/42953.html , etc. First noticed the problem July 2019.
Now that I look through, though, it seems like some images are allowed to be 80% or 85% -- but it seems to be images that are smaller to begin with, like https://potofsoup.dreamwidth.org/41257.html , though those images are still larger than the container box.
I wonder what triggers the forced image resizing, because it sucks. Could it be the height? The overall image megapixels?
ETA: I posted the question to dw_dev and got helpful responses! It seems like it's triggered by the height -- it's trying to fit the entire comic into the height of the screen or smth. And I can get around it by adding class="imageshrink-exempt" to my img tag. :D Huzzah!
